What we collect

Required

• First name
• Email address
• ZIP code

Optional

• Last name
• Phone number, only if you agree to receive texts
• Your answer to "Why do you want him to run?"
• Volunteer interests you tick

Automatically

• Approximate, IP-based data handled by Cloudflare for security and bot protection. We store only a salted hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
• Cookieless, aggregate analytics. No advertising trackers.

How we use it

• Counting supporters, including showing totals by state.
• Sending you updates.
• Preventing fraud and abuse.
• Showing your first name, state and answer publicly, only if you separately say that's OK.

Sharing

• We never sell your data.
• Service providers who help us run the site: Cloudflare, [EMAIL PLATFORM], [SMS PROVIDER, if used].
• If Sen. Ossoff becomes a candidate for president, we may share your information with his campaign or committees supporting him. We'll email you at least 14 days beforehand with a one-click opt-out.
• We may disclose information when the law requires it.

Donations

Donations are handled entirely by ActBlue under ActBlue's privacy policy. We never see your card details and never receive any money.

Your choices

• Every email has an unsubscribe link. Reply STOP to any text.
• To see or delete your data, email privacy@draftossoff.com. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

We keep your data while the project is active. If the project shuts down without a handoff, we delete it within 90 days.

Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 13. If we learn that data came from a child under 13, we delete it.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and only the organizers can access it.

Changes

We'll announce material changes to this policy by email.

State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of sharing. To make a request, email privacy@draftossoff.com from the address you signed up with. We won't treat you differently for asking.
